Ford has entered Grasso’s Garage again this year: It is time to show off the F-Series Super Duty pickup, the F-250. Our tester is the F-250 Super Duty 4×4 Crew Cab Platinum — the valedictorian of all trucks with its 48 consecutive years of bestselling work vehicles.

Powering our $75,000+ base-price F-250 was the 6.7L High-Output Power Stroke Diesel engine and 10-speed auto TorqShift transmission. Fit for every job site, the F-250 is ready to work, ride or tow as it tops the charts in all categories.

Wrapped in beautiful Glacier Grey with black accents, the F-250 Platinum is a head-turner for sure.

Its Platinum upgrades boast tremendous luxury and comfort while still being able to perform in all areas around the house or job. We utilized a slew of options on our tester including the Tonneau cover, vehicle console safe, Pro Power Onboard charger, power moonroof, retractable bedside steps, max recline front seat and the FX4 off-road package. Standard on our tester was a 12-inch infotainment screen, 120V power outlet, LED lights, Head-Up display, 360-degree camera and Ford Co-Pilot. Let’s not forget the smooth suspension and onboard scales for weight calibration with Smart Hitch.

It is no secret that Ford is the king of trucks; from their wide array of model and package options, Ford Motor Co. has it figured out. Starting with design all the way to comfort, the F-250 is just another prime example of who the competition is chasing.

But this all comes with a big price. Break out your wallet, as pickup trucks are no longer just for work. Our tester was certainly luxurious and ready for a long drive, but with a $103,000 total price, this truck adds camping, towing and much, much more to its list of usages in the hope of satisfying your every want/need in a pickup truck.
