Recalled Lean Cuisine and Stouffer's meals sold by Walmart, Publix, others might have wood

The latest not-food-in-your-food recall pulls Lean Cuisine and Stouffer’s frozen meals from shelves at Walmart, Publix, Kroger, Kroger-owned chains and other grocers.
As explained by Nestle USA’s recall notice, customers told Nestle about meals with “wood-like material,” and there has been “one potential choking incident” so far.
Here’s what’s been recalled, along with affected lot numbers and best by dates:
— Lean Cuisine Butternut Squash Ravioli, lot Nos. 4261595912, best by OCT2025; 4283595912, best by NOV2025; 4356595912, best by JAN2026; 5018595912, best by FEB2026; and 5038595912, best by MAR2026.
— Lean Cuisine Spinach Artichoke Ravioli, lot Nos. 4311595912, best by DEC2025; 5002595912, best by FEB2026; 5037595912, best by MAR2026; and 5064595912, best by APR2026.
— Lean Cuisine Lemon Garlic Shrimp Stir Fry Bowl,lot No. 4214595511, best by SEPT2025.
— Stouffer’s Party Size Chicken Lasagna, lot Nos. 4262595915, best by OCT2025; 4351595915, best by JAN2026; 5051595915, best by MAR2026; and 5052595915, best by MAR2026.
Walmart said all four products went to stores in all 50 states and the District of Columbia.
The two Lean Cuisine ravioli meals went to Kroger and Kroger-owned chains Ralphs, Dillons, Fred Meyer, Mariano’s, Pick n Save, Metro Market, Baker’s, Gerbes, King Soopers, City Market, Fry’s, QFC, and Smith’s stores.
Publix sold only the Lean Cuisine Lemon Garlic Shrimp Stir Fry Bowl.
