A franchise reboot with new dino DNA tops the DVD releases for the week of Sept. 9.

"Jurassic World: Rebirth": Three decades after the events of "Jurassic Park," a group of scientists and bounty hunters and a shipwrecked family arrive on the island to collect samples of the dinosaurs that roam free. Starring Scarlett Johansson, Mahershala Ali and Jonathan Bailey.

"'Park' purists may nitpick, but fundamentally, 'Rebirth' is a gorgeously rendered all-ages adventure film," writes Tribune News Service Katie Walsh in her review. "If there are moments that don’t quite hit right, the ones that do are impossible to forget. Remember, this is about having fun, and 'Rebirth' is a blast."

"Materialists": Filmmaker Celine Song's romantic comedy finds a New York City matchmaker (Dakota Johnson) juggling two love interests (Chris Evans and Pedro Pascal) in her personal life.

"Clown in a Cornfield": A crazed killer clown terrorizes a group of teens in this slasher flick.

"The Surfer": An American man (Nicolas Cage) embarks on a journey into the heart of darkness when he drives to buy his childhood home overlooking an idyllic Australian surf spot.

"Bride Hard": Rebel Wilson and Anna Camp star in this mashup of "Die Hard" and "Bridesmaids" that sees a wedding party taken hostage.

"Chicago PD: Season 12": Sgt. Hank Voight and his team are back fighting crime in NBC's Windy City-set procedural.

"Dark Winds: Season 3": AMC drama starring Zahn McClarnon as a tribal police officer in 1970s Navajo Nation.

"Ice Road: Vengeance": Liam Neeson returns for this sequel that finds him traveling to Mount Everest when mercenaries decide to target the wrong bus.

"NCIS: Season 22": The team investigates a powerful cartel in the 22nd entry of the long-running CBS series.

"The White Lotus: Season Three": The third season of HBO's vacation murder-mystery series heads to a lavish Thailand resort with a cast boasting Walton Goggins, Carrie Coon, Jason Isaacs, Parker Posey and Michelle Monaghan.

"Yadang: The Snitch": Korean crime drama that finds a discarded former police informant and a disillusioned detective join forces to take down the corrupt power structure.
