Rob Lowe has revealed he had a golf cart accident at Patrick Schwarzenegger’s wedding earlier this month and nearly died as a result of the ordeal.

“At Patrick’s wedding, I almost wiped out. I literally almost got killed in a golf cart,” Lowe said on Tuesday’s episode of “Jimmy Kimmel Live.”

The “Parks and Recreation” alum told Kimmel he’s “always had a phobia” of the vehicles despite their slow speed, because “they’re tipsy-toppy, ready to roll over all the time.”

“I’ll do crazy stuff. I’ll big-wave surf, I’ll heli-ski, but I’m petrified of golf carts,” he confessed. “I think in a past life maybe… I don’t know… but for real, I’m really, really petrified of rolling a golf cart.”

Lowe said that while attending the “White Lotus” star’s Sept. 6 nuptials to model Abby Champion, he spun out while going down a wet hill at the Gozzer Ranch country club in Coeur d’Alene, Idaho.

“I did a full double 360. I’m bad at math, so double 360, and that’s how many times I turned,” the “West Wing” actor said.

Thankfully, his work in film gave him the skills to mitigate the accident.

“Movies, they give you stunt driving, so I just kept the wheel [straight] like I was trained to,” Lowe said. “My friend said, ‘You looked like a statue as you were spinning.'”
