Lil Nas X seen in public for first time since felony arrest

Lil Nas X was spotted in public this week for the first time since late August, when he was hospitalized for a possible overdose after roaming the streets of Los Angeles in his underwear, and was later charged with four felonies after allegedly assaulting officers.
Photographs published by TMZ on Thursday show the 26-year-old Grammy winner — real name Montero Lamar Hill — grinning as he sported baggy jeans and a vintage tee, topped with a fur-lined denim jacket while running errands in Santa Monica.
The “Old Town Road” rapper has spent the better part of the past two months keeping a low profile following his arrest.
Cellphone video obtained by the outlet in late August showed Nas strutting down L.A.’s Ventura Boulevard around 4 a.m., wearing just his underwear and cowboy boots. His behavior was reported to authorities by multiple witnesses.
Insiders at the time told TMZ that Nas had “charged” at responding officers and was ultimately hospitalized for a potential overdose.
Nas was reportedly tased during his arrest and, after spending the weekend in custody, pleaded not guilty to three counts of battery with injury on a police officer and one count of resisting arrest. He was released on $75,000 bail and faces up to five years in state prison if convicted. Nas is scheduled to return to court on Nov. 18.
“Your girl is gonna be OK, y’all, OK? She’s gonna be alright,” he chuckled in a video days after the incident. “That was f–ing terrifying. … But your girl is gonna be alright.”
