A stylish thriller from filmmaker David Fincher tops the DVD releases for the week of Dec. 2.

"The Killer": Based on a French graphic novel, Michael Fassbender portrays an assassin who begins to lose his edge. The cast also boasts Tilda Swinton and Charles Parnell.

"Fincher’s latest film for Netflix ... is an entrancing experience," writes The News-Herald critic Mark Meszoros in his review. "This portrait of a meticulous murderer-for-hire is well-crafted and consuming, at least until a climactic scene that, at least upon first viewing, rings a bit false."

NEW ON DVD DEC. 2

"Code 3": Rainn Wilson and Lil Rel Howery star in this action comedy about a jaded paramedic training his replacement over the course of a 24-hour shift full of disaster and calamity.

"The Gilded Age: The Complete Third Season": Return to the opulence of old New York with Season 3 of HBO's prestige period piece.

"The Handmaid's Tale: Season Six": The final season of Hulu's drama adapted from Margaret Atwood's dystopian novel, with Elisabeth Moss in the starring role.
