Gwyneth Paltrow's daughter thought she was "bad-a**" for kissing Timothee Chalamet in Marty Supreme.
The actors play love interests in the highly anticipated movie - based on the true story of table tennis champion, Marty Reisman (Timothee) - and paparazzi spotted Gwyneth (Kay Stone) and Timothee filming an intimate scene in Central Park, which did not go down well with Apple Martin, 21, and 19 year old Moses Martin.
Asked how they reacted to the photos, Gwyneth - who has her bundles of joy with her 48-year-old ex-husband, Coldplay frontman Chris Martin - told the US TV show Extra: "My daughter thought it was very bad-ass and my son was like, 'Oh, my God, Mom.' He was like, 'This is too much.'"
When she and Timothee - who is dating 28-year-old media personality Kylie Jenner - shot the scene, Gwyneth blocked out the paparazzi.
The actress - who has been married to 54-year-old TV writer Brad Falchuk since 2018 - said: "I mean, honestly, when you shoot in Central Park, there's so many paparazzi around. You're just trying to focus on what you're doing, and I didn't think about much, but like, how can I just focus on this? There's so much happening."
Ping-pong drama Marty Supreme - directed by Josh Safdie - is set in the 1950s, and it sees the rising table tennis player do whatever it takes to achieve his dream of becoming a champion player in the sport.
Gwyneth was attracted to doing the movie - which is released on December 26 - because it was filmed in New York, meaning she could work near her children, who were in the area for college.
She said: "I hadn't really caught the acting bug back again, but Josh Safdie is so brilliant and it also dovetailed at a time in my life when all the kids went to college and I had an empty nest and I thought, 'Gosh, maybe, maybe this would be a fun thing or interesting thing to go be in New York and be near all the kids and do this.'
"So, it wasn't until I was on set that I felt the acting bug bite me again."
And Gwyneth is pleased to be starring in Marty Supreme.
She added: "It just worked out in a really serendipitous way, and I'm so glad I did the film because I had so much fun doing it."
