Bill O’Reilly has revealed he’s taking it easy as he battles an undisclosed illness.

The conservative commentator shared the news in a blog post on his website this week, vowing to keep his fans informed on his condition while he works to recover. O’Reilly is currently the host of the podcast “No Spin News,” launched after his 2017 ouster from Fox News over sexual harassment allegations.

“Hey No Spin Nation. Sorry I am dealing with a malady,” he wrote. “We have great doctors so we’ll fight the good fight. Doesn’t affect my fingers so will update you on me, news cycle, and anything major. Hopefully, back in the saddle shortly.”

In addition to hosting his podcast, O’Reilly makes regular appearances on NewsNation, particularly as a guest on Chris Cuomo’s show, “CUOMO.” He also confirmed O’Reilly would not be making his scheduled appearance on the program this week.

“He is sick,” Cuomo told viewers on Wednesday. “So, we wish Bill well. He’ll be back soon.”

Once one of the biggest names at Fox News, O’Reilly hosted his eponymous talk show, “The O’Reilly Factor,” for more than 20 years. He was dismissed in 2017, after a New York Times report revealed he had settled five sexual harassment suits — shelling out millions of dollars to his accusers — during his time with the media company. He subsequently launched “No Spin News,” which is available on Amazon FireTV, Apple TV and Roku.

O’Reilly additionally offers premium membership for his website, starting at just under $5.50 a month, with a higher-end subscription costing $7.92. He has also authored several books, most recently one titled, “Confronting Evil,” which “recounts the deeds of the worst people in history,” according to its description.
