Taylor Swift has thrown her support behind Team USA's figure skaters as they prepare to take to the ice at the Winter Olympics.

The 36-year-old pop superstar has provided the narration and music for a promotional video introducing the world to aspiring Olympic champions Amber Glenn, Alysa Liu, and Isabeau Levito, who will all compete at the Milano Cortina 2026 Winter Olympic Games in Italy this week, with the singer describing them as "three American showgirls on ice" in a nod to her latest album The Life of a Showgirl.

Taylor starts the video by saying: "Ladies and gentlemen, I'd like to introduce you to Amber, Alysa and Isabeau, three American showgirls on ice who will capture your heart with their stories."

The video plays to the sound of the pop star's new single Opalite with Taylor giving a brief rundown of all three of the skaters.

She says: "Amber will be the first to tell you about how many battles she's fought, and about how the ones she's lost have meant as much as the wins. Her superpower now is embracing the fight and daring the world to test her self-belief.

"As for Alyssa, she walked away from skating when she was 16, but then came back on her own terms. Joy fuels her now. Every jump, a celebration. Every performance, a testament to the beauty of knowing yourself."

Taylor concludes by adding: "And then, Isabeau. I mean, she's destiny personified. Her mom grew up in Milan, and her nona, her grandma, lived exactly 13 minutes from the Olympic rink.

"When you skate like you're meant to be out there, history has a funny way of showing up."

Swift concludes the video by saying: "They're teammates and friends. They call themselves the 'Blade Angels.' And tomorrow night, they will take center stage."

The three will compete in the Women's Singles figure skating which kicks off on Tuesday (17.02.26) with the Short Program. The skaters will then return to the ice on Thursday (19.02.26) for the Free Skate and the combined score of both sessions will determine the medals.

Swift previously filmed a good luck message to all of the athletes taking part in the games, which aired during NBC's coverage of the opening ceremony.

She said: "This is a message to all the athletes. Getting to learn your stories, and seeing everything you sacrificed and all your determination and hard work and passion … it's just really inspiring.

"I am very grateful for everything you've done to get to this point in your life and grateful that you've brought all of us along on this journey.

"Wishing you all the best of luck and a safe journey, and I hope this is an experience you cherish for the rest of your life."
