Lana Del Rey has released her latest single created with the help of her nearest and dearest.

The 39-year-old singer-songwriter has dropped White Feather Hawk Tail Deer Hunter, a sweeping new track written alongside her sister Chuck Grant, her brother-in-law Jason Pickens, and her husband Jeremy Dufrene. The single is out now via Polydor Records, marking Lana's first new music of the year.

The deeply personal song sees Lana collaborating once again with long-time creative partner Jack Antonoff, who co-produced the track. Production also comes from Lana herself, with additional co-production and lush string arrangements by Drew Erickson. Mixing duties were handled by Dean Reid and Laura Sisk.

The accompanying music video, which is set to premiere on Wednesday (18.02.26), has been self-made by the Video Games hitmaker and her team, continuing her tradition of hands-on visual storytelling.

Lana has often taken an active role in shaping the aesthetic of her projects, and the new clip is expected to reflect the intimate, family-driven spirit behind the song.

White Feather Hawk Tail Deer Hunter highlights a particularly personal chapter for the star, who has increasingly woven her private life into her creative output. By enlisting close family members in the songwriting process, Lana offers fans a rare glimpse into her inner circle.

The release also arrives amid anticipation for her next studio album. Earlier this month, Lana revealed via Instagram Stories that a new record is due in approximately three months, although she has yet to confirm the title or exact release date.

Speaking about the country-inspired record, Lana teased that fans would find out more "soon".

She said: "I know, you're asking about the record. But honestly, soon. 'Cause vinyl takes three months, so three months plus two weeks. It could be give or take a bit less than that."

Lana had initially announced her 10th studio album for a May 2025 release, though the record was ultimately delayed to early 2026.

The singer had also originally titled the album Lasso, before changing it to The Right Person Will Stay - though that name has seemingly been dropped too.

Lana previously explained she decided to add six more songs to the collection, which led to the delay.

She said: "They were more autobiographical than I thought, and that took more time.

"The majority of the album will have a country flair. Eight years ago, when I was looking to make a country record, no one else was thinking about country.

"Now everyone is going country! I've asked myself, Should I retire all my snakeskin boots? Should I put my cowboy hats in storage?"
