'Peanuts’ and Charlie Brown Celebrates 75th Anniversary

On October 2, 1950, a new comic strip called “Peanuts” debuted in seven newspapers. Written and illustrated by Charles M. Shultz, the characters Charlie Brown, Snoopy, Lucy and the rest of the Peanuts gang would grow to become some of the most-beloved icons of pop-culture.
