KANSAS CITY, Mo. — On his first full day as a member of the Rams, there was a news conference for former Chiefs cornerback Trent McDuffie, who later went on ESPN Los Angeles.

One of the questions during the radio program was about the fiancée of one of his former Chiefs teammates.

You can guess who, right?

Yeah, it was superstar singer Taylor Swift, who is engaged to Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce. The radio host wanted to know if McDuffie had met Swift, and what she was like.

McDuffie said that first meeting with Swift was a moment he’ll never forget.

“She is a very special woman down to earth, genuine,” McDuffie said. “And I remember when I first met her, it was a little bit of nerves, but she gave me a big hug, knew my name, knew my position, knew football. And I was like, ‘Wow, this is surreal. This is a moment that I’ll remember forever,’ just meeting Taylor Swift and being able to just actually just have a normal conversation. Like, it was really cool. So a lot of respect to Taylor Swift, and shoutout to Travis, too.”

Here’s guessing it won’t be the last time McDuffie is asked about Swift.
