GREG COTE’S NFL WEEK 11 THURSDAY PICK
COMMANDERS (7-3) at EAGLES (7-2)
Line: PHI by 3 1/2.
Cote’s pick: PHI, 27-23.
TV: 8:15 p.m. Thursday, Prime Video.
Picturing a morose Jerry Jones hammering Johnnie Walker Blue while watching two other, better NFC East teams on a showcase stage before America — with the winning team able to think itself Detroit’s biggest challenger (sorry Vikings) for conference supremacy. It’s a good one to kick off Week 11 in King Sport, and the two QBs are out front on why. Jalen Hurts has a 115-plus passer rating in each game in Birds’ five-game win streak, and Jayden Daniels continues a landslide betting fave for rookie of the year. Daniels has been really good on the road, too, with 77% accuracy and 7-1 on TDs/picks away from home. Two big offenses, edge to Philly on defense. Weather a possible factor, with temps around 40 and a chance of rain. Birds have won two straight and five of six in series and I like 'em here as well, at home and hot. Give me Saquon Barkley, Hurts and Eagles’ No. 2-ranked rushing offense vs. Washington’s bottom-five run-D.
