Tyreek Hill responds to Colts' video mocking him: 'Should've left it up, this was funny'

Dolphins wide receiver Tyreek Hill is an NFL lightning rod — even when he’s minding his own business.
The Indianapolis Colts, who host the Dolphins in the 2025 season opener, deleted their 2025 schedule release video because it was deemed insensitive to Hill. The Colts also apologized to Hill.
In response, Hill said he thought the video was funny and that the Colts should have left it online.
“Should’ve left it up @Colts, this was funny,” Hill said Thursday morning on a social media post.
In the early part of the since-deleted video a dolphin is swimming through the water when a Coast Guard boat pulls up beside the dolphin with a siren on.
The scene is mocking Hill being detained by law enforcement prior to last season’s opener against Jacksonville.
The Colts’ video also had a Minecraft theme, taking a page from the popular video game, but the team apparently didn’t get proper permission from Microsoft.
The Colts released a statement Thursday morning: “We removed our schedule release video because it exceeded our rights with Microsoft and included an insensitive clip involving Dolphins wide receiver Tyreek Hill. We sincerely apologize to Microsoft and Tyreek.”
This is at least the second time the Dolphins have been mocked in a schedule release video.
The Los Angeles Chargers, who hosted the Dolphins in the 2023 season opener, mocked Dolphins coach Mike McDaniel for apparently taking a hit from a vape pen on the sideline in a playoff game at Buffalo in their 2023 schedule release video. McDaniel neither confirmed nor denied the allegation when asked about the incident.
The Dolphins’ 2025 schedule intro video was narrated by Hall of Fame linebacker Zach Thomas.
